The white Shure WL183m is a discreet, low-profile omnidirectional lavalier microphone well suited to a wide variety of interview, presentation, broadcast, and film/video applications. The mic features a 3-pin LEMO connector compatible with select Shure wireless transmitters. Not only does the lav offer a profile that is 8mm shorter then previous models, the WL183m delivers better audio quality with an improved presence response, higher dynamic range, and lower self-noise for crystal clear speech and vocals.

The electret condenser capsule filters out unwanted low frequencies below 70 Hz and delivers a high-end response up to 20 kHz to provide clear, intelligible speech for instructors, journalists, and presenters doing interviews, voiceovers, and dialog. The diaphragm can handle SPL levels up to 133.5 dB, while the forgiving omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound evenly in a 360° radius, helping to provide consistent levels, even when the talent turns away from the mic.

Optimized for a 5 VDC plug-in power source, the mic features a 4' cable terminating in a 3-pin LEMO connector for use with a compatible Shure wireless bodypack transmitter or similar device. A snap-fit windscreen and adjustable lapel clip that offers 90° rotation for optimal mic placement are included. A zippered storage pouch is also supplied.

LEMO 3-Pin Connector
Compatible Wireless Transmitters
  • Shure: works with Shure transmitters equipped with a LEMO 3-pin connector, including the following models: AD1, ADX1, ADX1M, and ULXD1
  • Third-party devices: the WL183m will work with third-party wireless transmitters that are equipped to supply 5 VDC through a LEMO 3-pin connector.
A Discreet and Dependable Omnidirectional Lavalier
Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all around the capsule, helping to supply consistent speech levels, even when the talent isn't speaking directly toward the microphone.
Headroom for Speech and Vocals
This LEMO version of the WL183m offers a 111.5 dB dynamic range and a very low self-noise of only 22 dB SPL; it can also handle up to 133.5 dB SPL with only 1% total harmonic distortion (THD), providing headroom for broadcast-quality interviews, speech, and dialog.
Frequency Response Tailored for Speech
With a frequency range from 70 Hz to 20 kHz, the mic filters out unnecessary low frequencies and provides extended high-end range for accurate and transparent speech reproduction.
Low-Profile Appearance
Compared to the original, the durable aluminum alloy housing on the WL183m is 8mm shorter and features a smaller snap-on windscreen, providing a more discreet appearance for presenters, performers, and on-camera talent.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
